Evelyn Kreutzer : I recently turned my dissertation from a “traditional” written text into a videographic book (with both written and videographic components). I propose to discuss the ways in which different methods and practice-based strategies help re-evaluate the original argument/thesis/approach, and how large-scale projects may come about through smaller fragments.
Evelyn Kreutzer is a video artist and video essayist. Her forthcoming monograph, based on her PhD is entitled: “Televising Taste: Televising Taste: Performing Classical Music on American Screens.”
